श्री भगवानुवाच
When does The Blessed Lord speak?
He is always communicating, but it is that when we want to hear does His speech become significant. Therefore the speech of Ishvara becomes actual when we have the willingness to listen. Only when our intelligence fails to eliminate the misery, the help is sought. Those who seek help without trying anything themselves is nothing but laziness glorified in sweet words. The fact is that these words of glorification provide a superb camouflage to hide your weakness. This cunningness is not seeking help but expecting somebody to clean up the mess we have created.
Here the individual (jiva) is not wanting Bhagvan to do anything for him, but seeks His guidance and expresses his willingness to walk the path. He is not expecting Bhagvan to walk the path for is his willingness which expresses as listening, analysin g ,understanding and assimilating. Therefore it is neither blind following nor laziness. It is basically a realistic understanding of the limitation of our intelligence, admitting our ignorance and then seeking guidance. In most of the cases it so happens that we are not ready to admit our ignorance in spite of our failure. thus we find ourselves so much in love with our foolishness that we continue living the same way ,committing the same mistakes and meeting the same end- namely misery.
Seeking to know that which is possibly not understood and remains unresolved even by the greatest of human intellects is the problem of humanity to which the Supreme Intelligence, the Omniscience can offer the solution is where the Supreme speaks.
To arrive at this state of questioning is the culmination of human existence, culmination of all human experiences and all spiritual practices. If one’s experience and spiritual practice fails to bring one at this door of questioning then perhaps one has not given enough attention to his experiences and seems to be living in illusions of spirituality.
Failing to find a solution to the burning question, how to end the misery completely is the very substance of this quest. How can one overcome the fear of death and be free of every insecurity completely? How to attain the uncontaminated joy, joy, which does not become a fleeting experience, a memory or just an unfulfilled dream?
From surface these questions appear different questions, but to be true they are just one! Elimination of misery and attainment of joy is the quest of all existence irrespective of any life form.  This seems to be the common goal of all. The animals, birds and bees etc. are not able to understand it consciously pursue the quest in its quest in its unstained sprit. It occurs only to the human intelligence that can truly analyze the intensions and follow them to meet the end. Therefore one may consider it as the privilege of the human existence that this can be achieved and experienced so life can truly meet its destination!!!
It is at this juncture of human existence that the Supreme speaks. Thus the journey has brought the human existence to blossom into something which is sought after for many lives and by every life!!!
